COMPARATIVE OF NATURAL ZEOLITE – CLINOPTILOLITE ELIMINATION OF METAL IONS/ESPECIALLY Cu (II) WITH D-PENICILLAMINE FROM BIOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENTS

Clinoptilolite is used as an adsorbent to remove heavy metal cations due its function a molecular sieve. This sieve characteristic has made it possible study the efficiency of clinoptilolite and D-Penicillamine in comparative way terms adsorption metals (especially copper) from biological medium. For this purpose, was subjected grinding produce homogenized micronized powder two sizes with d90=75 150 μm. Then, initial tests aqueous medium were performed on 10 ppm solutions iron, zinc, copper, cadmium nickel single cation solutions, well mixture cations. In next step, evaluate Cu2+ under different conditions. Experiments have been investigate effect pH, temperature (T), dosage, time concentration simulated According results, high ability solutions. The 99.71% removal copper by indicates mineral any environment. at pH=7 5, rate 98.18% 97.45% respectively, which zeolite absorb An examination mass balance calculations also shown replace penicillamine; 15 mg removes 214 Cu equivalent formation copper-penicillamine chelate.
